When Do I Pay for Sessions?

Payment is due at the beginning of each session.  We accept accepts Venmo, cash, check, and credit card payments. There is a 3% service fee for credit card payments. 

How Do I Get Reimbursed from my insurance company?

Because plans vary, please make sure to get the specifics about reimbursements from your insurance provider.  To assist with reimbursement, Pace Counseling Services will provide you will a monthly statement, which will include information about your sessions and fees paid.  This statement is called a superbill, which you will use to submit to your insurance company and any reimbursements should go directly to you.

Do I need a mental health diagnosis to use my out-of-network benefits?

Deciding to use insurance is a very personal choice.  A mental health diagnosis will be required to get reimbursed for your therapy fees.  Feel free to discuss the pros and cons about getting a mental health diagnosis with your therapist at Pace Counseling Services if you are on the fence and need additional support making this decision.
